This is a very short version of what happened, I just don't feel like typing all the details.
Saturday night we made our first trip to the ER. Preston was playing in a room that he is not susposed to play in and he grabbed a Milwaukee 18volt drill off the table and he dropped the drill on his leg. My mom thought that he had hurt his hand because that was what was covered in blood. But my dad noticed that his leg was the one bleeding. We rushed him over to the Sun Lakes fire department ( just down the street from my parents house) , to see if we needed to call an ambulance but they looked at it and decided that it would only need 10 stitches, so we went ahead and took him to Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. Once we got there, we got in prettty quickly and had several doctors look at his leg they all agreed that the wound was deep but no damage to any tendants even though one of the tendants had a cut on the outside layer of it. So, they went ahead and stitched up his leg with 24 stitches. There are 3 different cuts, the first is 3 to 3.5 inches long and the other 2 are an inch long each.
The doctors wanted him to walk on his foot, flat footed within 24 hours. He has done it but he is still being very careful with it. We have some doctors apt scheduled for the next few weeks, so hopefully everything is good and we have no problems!
I would post pictures but they are not pretty. He still has a lot of swelling, redness/blood and the wound is still running a clear liquid. I figured I would post a picture after the stitches come out in a few weeks.

Poor Preston. I hope that he gets feeling better. Little boys always seem to learn things the hard way. Give him love for us.
WOW that's pretty scary. I'm glad he is going to be OK!!
That was scary. We have been lucky no trips to the ER for Ryan yet(knock o wood) glad to hear that he is doing good.
